Vacuum Concentrator

This equipment is used to concentrate the liquid extract obtained from a single effect evaporator. The extract containing 30 to 40% TDS obtained from a single effect is further concentrated up to 70% TDS.

Operation:

• The equipment has 3 leg structure and a spherical-shaped body with a center anchor stirrer with Teflon movable scrappers to scrap out the adhered thin film on the inner surface of the concentrator. This works under a vacuum.
• It has a vapor column, a double pass condenser, and a vacuum receiver. The vacuum is applied through the vacuum condenser. The primary spherical body has a jacket, insulation, and cladding.
