- Presently our main focus is in the field of Ayurveda as processing technology is based on traditional manufacturing systems because the medicines were made by doctors for their own patients.
- This relates to a small quantity of drug manufacturing where everything was made by hand. It was made with the available technology in open atmosphere as there was no pollution of water and air.
- But today’s scenario is for bulk manufacturing to cater large population of India and rest of the world.
